I recently when to the the Old german Schnitzel haus. It was very good and is know for it’s schnitzel an steak. I tried the sauerbraten which was amazing. It was threepeices of thin medium rare steaks with a hearty sweet and sour sauce. the salad ad salmon were both exceptional too. Located in Hickory, NC it was voted one of the best german restaurants in america in 2010. It wa very good and would highly recommend it.
As know saturday is shop local saturday. I ate a place called The Mecca. It is a small breakfast joint located on 13 E Martin St, Raleigh, NC 27601. The place has been around for eighty-three years. I have recently tried out the new Yellow Dog Bread Co. The food was very good but the service really needs some work. The person we ordered from got are order wrong so we had to pay extra for what we didn’t want. The food came out really fast though. They also had a good selection because they had vegetarian choices and they had sweet treats . They also need more seating; they only have four tables.
