If you’ve had American paella, it’s nothing like the real deal from a small restaurant in downtown Barcelona. My family and I recently went to Spain for a week. The thing I was most excited about was definitely the food. In DC I had a paella that was only okay when you compared it with Spain’s authentic paella.
